GAC Launches the Third Generation Humanoid Robot GoMate, Set for Mass Production in 2026
GAC Group unveiled the third generation of its embodied intelligence humanoid robot GoMate at the 2024 China Robotics Network Annual Conference, showcasing the automaker's new expansion into the robotics field. The robot's standout feature is its industry-first variable wheeled and legged mobility structure, allowing for seamless switching between four-wheeled and two-legged modes, significantly enhancing environmental adaptability. It is equipped with GAC's self-developed pure vision autonomous driving algorithm and the FIGS-SLAM algorithm architecture, achieving a breakthrough from planar to spatial intelligence. In terms of endurance, it benefits from GAC's all-solid-state battery.
